A Memorable Day with the Nelson Jaguar Drivers Club. On Saturday, 30th November, River Haven were honoured to host the Nelson Jaguar Drivers Club to celebrate an incredible milestone—75 years of the legendary Jaguar XK engine. The event was a roaring success, with over 40 stunning classic Jaguars on display and more than 100 enthusiastic guests in attendance.
The day couldn’t have been more perfect, with warm weather setting the stage for a vibrant and memorable celebration. Guests enjoyed a delicious BBQ paired with the charm of a traditional English Cream Tea, offering something special for everyone. A highlight of the day was the unveiling of Noel’s V12 E Type, complete with the personalised number plate “DEWIS,” paying tribute to the legendary Jaguar test driver Norman Dewis. It was a moment of pride and inspiration for all in attendance, celebrating both history and craftsmanship.
Adding to the festivities, live music filled the air, creating a fantastic atmosphere that brought people together. As a special keepsake, every Jaguar driver left with a bottle of our Pinot Gris Reserve, beautifully branded with the exclusive 75-year emblem—a fitting tribute to this wonderful anniversary.
