The countdown to the 2025 grape harvest has started – don’t miss the chance to be part of this unique Ngatimoti community event.
In preparation, the vineyard has taken on a new look as our vines now sit beneath delicate netting, shimmering in the sunlight, transforming the vineyard into something almost magical.
This is the time of year we pull out all the stops—or rather, the nets! While it may look like a giant cover-up, it’s the final phase of protecting our grapes as they reach their peak. In just a few weeks, those nets will come off, and the vineyard will shift from a scene of quiet anticipation to the energy and excitement of harvest time.
So, the River Haven team now await the big decision – when to get the nets off and start picking?
The answer now lies with the weather gods, but it’s looking like our 2025 Harvest Event will be either on the weekend of March 29/30 or April 5/6.
