Liz and I had always harboured the ambition of creating a Positivity Haven-a place where like-minded people could come together, express opinions, offer guidance and have an uplifting experience packed with love, laughter and fun.
Our Journey Together
Our search for the perfect location brought us to New Zealand and the paradise of the Motueka Valley where we've created our River Haven. In just three years we have established one of New Zealand's most attractive venues which has proved enormously popular with Kiwis and visitors from around the world. The success of River Haven, in a turbulent and challenging economic climate, is undeniable and we are profoundly grateful to all who’ve helped turn our dream into reality.
A Shared Vision
Noel & Liz bring to their River Haven venture over 50 years experience of TV and Event production. This expertise is evident in the quality of the Special Events they organise.
Halloween and Christmas festivities have proved highly popular, the Bugger Inn parties are now legendary and the big Jaguar Anniversary Show was one of the highlights of 2024 at River Haven.
No other venue can provide guests with a professional video of their event, personalised imagery on multiple venue screens and their own bespoke online radio station operating in the build up, during and after their event.
No wonder River Haven is now acknowledged as New Zealand's No1 venue for Special Events.
At River Haven we seek to bring positive energy to everything we do. Frequently our guests tell us we've created not only a very attractive venue but also a wonderfully uplifting atmosphere.
ITV Captures a Glimpse of Our Life in New Zealand
We're determined to bring our positive attitude to an even wider audience which is why we agreed in 2024 to have our lives documented by ITV, a UK production company.
Of course, although they were with us for almost 4 months, they couldn't record every activity and each magic moment of our new lives here in New Zealand.
Inevitably the 3 ITV shows will be extremely selective in terms of content and it will be very difficult for them to convey the positive energy that all of us who live in the Motueka Valley feel on a daily basis.

River Haven TV on YouTube
That's why we've created our own TV channel River Haven TV. We wish to positively promote New Zealand to a global audience. We aim to encourage a much-needed upturn in the tourist industry. In turn this will have a positive impact on the regional economy. Thirdly, we hope our TV exposure will allow more people, than could possibly visit our venue, to experience the magic of River Haven.
