The weather map says it all…
This glorious summer* doesn’t only spoil holidays but also presents those working on the land with tremendous challenges. Our conservation planting programme has been seriously disrupted, some of our hay meadows remain uncut and our work on the Garden of Reflection at River Haven is now months behind schedule.
The revised opening date is now May 1st but the weather is more in control of the work schedule than we are!

There were a few misty eyes when we put up the Winter Closed sign at River Haven but we need the time to build on the success of the past 12 months.
