Come On Inn!
Locals are absolutely loving having a cozy place to unwind after a long day’s work – there’s nothing quite like an Old Git pilsner and a chat with your neighbour to remind you why this Valley is so special.
Bugger Waiting
New Zealand’s oldest pub, which lay undiscovered since the visit of Abel Tasman, has been restored and relocated to its original site in the beautiful village of Ngatimoti nestled in the spectacular Motueka River Valley.
We found an ancient tree
As our regular and loyal guests already know at River Haven we take great pride in the presentation of our vineyard and the protection of our natural environment.
More magic
This area (51 but that’s another story) is about to suddenly transform into our next exciting venture. But when?
A World Class Attraction
River Haven is now attracting people from every country around the world. Recently we welcomed Michael and Irene Matthews from Croydon, London. They came all the way to Ngatimoti by London cab.
Eco Love
At River Haven we have a total commitment to respecting, preserving and enhancing our natural environment. We now have acquired two electric buggies to transport our guests around our beautiful venue.
July MVA Newsletter
The July edition of the MVA newsletter is circulating and we’re very grateful for the Association’s help in publicising the new River Haven General Store.
New Store!
We provide all the essentials at competitive prices and we’re keen to stock produce from local suppliers and receive your suggestions of items we should feature in The Store.
Nelson Vintage Car Club
The latest ‘petrolheads’ to come to Ngatimoti were the members of one of New Zealand’s oldest car clubs – The Nelson Vintage Car Club first formed in 1964.
