New Zealand’s oldest pub, which lay undiscovered since the visit of Abel Tasman, has been restored and relocated to its original site in the beautiful village of Ngatimoti nestled in the spectacular Motueka River Valley.

River Haven is now attracting people from every country around the world. Recently we welcomed Michael and Irene Matthews from Croydon, London. They came all the way to Ngatimoti by London cab.
At River Haven we have a total commitment to respecting, preserving and enhancing our natural environment. We now have acquired two electric buggies to transport our guests around our beautiful venue.
